Be Careful When There is Dandruff in Coloured Hair
Colouring the hair has become a fancy and
fashion choice now. Also, when done, it looks really stylish on people. But
when one is colouring their hair, it has to be maintained properly as well.
Now when one has coloured hair, it can also
suffer from dandruff attacks as well. So, one has to be very careful on that
zone. If there are white flakes, then one has to remember that they just cannot
use anything or everything on their hair to eradicate them. Only the best anti dandruff shampoo for coloured hair can be of great help
here. One can take help of a skin specialist so that they can choose the right
shampoo for them because it is not always a good idea to select any over the
counter anti dandruff shampoo and start using it.
Apart from medicated shampoos one can also
take help of some very effective home remedies to fight back dandruff issues.
They are tried and tested for years and they hardly have any side effects.
Olive oil
Oil massage, especially hot oil massage can
be a great idea to treat dandruff problems. But this is only applicable when
the dandruff has happened as a result of dry scalp. One can take a few table
spoons of olive oil and mix it with a few drops of castor oil and heat it well
before applying on the hair and scalp.
One can keep it at least for an hour before washing it away with a mild
shampoo. They can prevent hair fall as well.
Tea Tree Oil
This is applicable if the scalp is oily as
well. One can easily mix a few drops of pure tea tree oil in the regular
shampoo that they use and keep using it at regular intervals till all the white
flakes are gone. They are very effective because it has anti bacterial and anti
fungal properties and it can stop the growth of fungus which leads to the
formation of dandruffs.
Baking Soda
Take a tea spoon full of baking soda and
then wet it with water. Then scrub it on the scalp and keep it for a few
minutes. It can help one to remove the accumulation of dead skin cells which
leads to the formation of white flakes and keep the scalp clean.
Apple Cider Vinegar
It is another great remedy for dandruffs.
One can take 2 table spoons of ACV and mix it with half a cup of water and then
pour it evenly on the scalp and wet hair. Keep it for a few minutes and then
wash it away with a mild shampoo. Regular use of it (at least thrice a week)
can help one to get rid of dandruffs.
One can always choose the best shampoo for dandruff and colour
treated hair and use them at a regular interval to get dandruff free hair.
Before doing that, taking help from a dermatologist makes sense because they
can examine the scalp and prescribe the right shampoo and its method of usage.
