Easy remedies to eradicate dandruffs
Colouring hair has become a fashion trend
for quite a few years now. Hair colour also looks very stylish and trendy and
one can flaunt them. But when one colours their hair, it is mandatory to maintain
them really well.
Also on top of that if one starts suffering
from dandruffs on their coloured hair and scalp, then it becomes all the more
difficult to maintain it. As the hair is coloured, one just cannot start using
any product on it. If they use any anti dandruff products on them then it can
lead to discolouring of hair as well. If one searches the market, there are
proper anti dandruff shampoo for coloured hair available and one can use them to
fight back the dandruff issues. If one is not very sure what they must use on
their coloured hair, then it is a better idea to consult a dermatologist and
they can test one and prescribe the right shampoo. If needed they can also
prescribe medications.
Apart from using anti dandruff shampoos,
one can also take help from some effective home remedies. They are tried and
tested for years and hence they can be easily used on dandruffs. There are as
follows:
Curd and Lemon
One needs to take a few table spoons of
yogurt or curd and then mix it with a few fresh drops of lemon juice. Both are
needed to be mixed well and then should be applied on the scalp. After applying
one should keep it there for at least an hour. It is better to cover the hair
with shower cap so that the mixture does not start dripping on the floor. After
an hour, one can wash the hair and scalp well with mild shampoo. If one can do
this at least twice a week then dandruffs can be removed.
Olive oil treatment
No matter what, a hot oil massage on the
hair is always a good idea. It can always work well on dry scalps and white
flakes (remember, if you have oily scalp then do not use hot oil as it will
increase oil secretion). One can take a few table spoons of olive oil and add a
few drops of castor oil in it and heat it mildly. Then one can easily massage
it on the scalp and hair evenly and keep it for an hour before washing it away
properly with a mild shampoo. It eradicates dandruff and also makes hair
stronger.
Tea Tree Oil
It is a great idea to mix at least 5 to 6
drops of tea tree oil in one’s regular shampoo and then use it on a regular
basis till the white flakes are all gone. Why this is effective? It is because
tea tree oil has anti bacterial and anti fungal properties which can stop the
dandruff from growing back on the scalp.
Apart from these remedies there is always a
colour safe dandruff shampoo available
that one can use at a regular interval to fight back their dandruff issues.
